Experience:

Robert O'Regan is a Principal at Fiduciary Real Estate Advisors LLC and is a Partner, and a member of Burns & Levinson LLP's Business Litigation, Probate Litigation, and Divorce and Family Law Groups. He has extensive experience in civil, probate and trust litigation. He also advises management and directors on corporate matters. Mr. O'Regan has successfully represented clients involving commercial and employment matters, and fiduciary duties of corporate officers and directors, trustees, and guardians. He also represents clients in complex cases in which the valuation and division of business or trust assets are a primary issue.

Mr. O'Regan's expertise in civil and commercial litigation includes debt collection, directors' and officers' liability, fidelity bond claims, and discharges from employment. He has successfully represented businesses and individuals before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. His practice also includes representing professionals before licensing and disciplinary authorities.

Mr. O'Regan practices before all of the Commonwealth's trial courts, the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court, and the U.S. District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First and Ninth Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations, and the Massachusetts Council for Public Justice.

Robert O'Regan received a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as managing editor of the American Criminal Law Review. He earned an M.A. in economics, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Tufts University.
